Assistant Accountant

Job Responsibilities

- To ensure accounting data are captured promptly and properly recorded in general ledger system to facilitate effective report production.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements, management accounts, accounting schedules and reconciliation.
- Maintenance of fixed asset system to ensure records are timely updated and verified.
- Arrange debit note issue to ensure completeness of expense recoveries.
- Assist in monitoring of overheads spending to ensure expenses are spent within budget.
- Carry out ad hoc duties and projects assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements

- Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline, HKICPA student member or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience in preparing monthly management accounts
- Good command of Chinese and English. Putonghua is a plus
- Good knowledge in MS office, particularly in Excel application. Knowledge in Oracle Applications preferred
