Your Mission:
To assume full responsibility for the entire financial and accounting operation. You will ensure flawless execution of core processes, deliver insightful management information, uphold rigorous controls, and provide the financial intelligence required for senior leadership to make critical strategic decisions. Your mandate is to build a finance function that is both a fortress of compliance and an engine of analysis.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Financial Leadership: Act as the Finance Director's key deputy, owning the planning, review, and monitoring of all daily financial operations. This encompasses management and financial reporting, in-depth financial and costing analyses, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and investment feasibility studies.
• Guardian of Financial Integrity: Ensure the absolute accuracy of all company accounts and guarantee that every financial report adheres to HKFRS/IFRS and all relevant regulatory standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for annual audits.
• Performance & Analytics Driver: Take responsibility for the prompt delivery of all monthly financial reports and performance analyses, transforming raw data into actionable business intelligence for the board and senior management.
• Operational & Cost Discipline: Manage and control expenses rigorously to ensure alignment with approved budgets. Implement and enforce robust internal control procedures, ensuring full compliance with group accounting policies.
• Comprehensive Functional Management: Oversee the full spectrum of the finance function, including tax planning, treasury considerations, and the integrity of financial systems and processes.

You are a qualified accountant who combines a strong technical foundation with proven leadership in financial services. You are a hands-on manager who demands excellence and possesses the communication skills to influence at the highest level.

Essential Credentials:
• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• ACCA or HKICPA qualified.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with substantial time in a Financial Controller or similar senior leadership role, preferably within the financial services industry.

Critical Skills & Attributes:
• Proven Leadership: Strong management skills with a track record of building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
• Analytical Rigour: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Superb Communicator: Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is mandatory. You must be able to articulate complex financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Technically Proficient: High proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel. A keen understanding of the financial services regulatory landscape in Hong Kong.
