Job Responsibilities
Our Client:
A well-established property developer based in Hong Kong.
The Role:
We are looking for a high-calibre professional to join our client’s Corporate Treasury Director(Consultant). In this role, you will lead key treasury initiatives spanning internal liquidity strategy and cash management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with the CFO to optimise regional liquidity adequacy, and collaborate with Finance, Risk, Firm Management, and Business Units on resource allocation and return metrics
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance and other business units
• Proactively identify emerging risks and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies
• Support the rollout of the liquidity risk management framework across business units or regional entities
• Establish and manage the daily Required Liquidity Positioning Framework to calibrate targets, and advise the Treasury Capital Management team on applicable reserve requirements—ensuring compliance while investing in approved liquid assets
• Identify liquidity and funding risks, and recommend / implement effective mitigation actions
Job Requirements
• Advanced knowledge of Corporate Treasury (capital, liquidity, or funding) and the broader industry landscape
• Ability to clearly articulate risks and impacts to diverse audiences, and develop actionable mitigation plans
• Relevant experience in Treasury, Risk, or Finance, with working knowledge of Corporate Treasury and Liquidity Risk management (either directly or through consulting / regulatory roles)
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills—essential for engaging with teams and senior management
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to distil complex business problems and detailed analysis into clear, concise insights
• Proficiency in data processing and visualisation, with the ability to conduct deep-dive analysis to support key treasury decisions
• Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to meet and manage deadlines
• Typically, at least 4 years of relevant experience is expected for the level of expertise required
